About Me

Welcome to My Homemaking Life!
I am passionate about mothers and wives living their very best lives.

Why My Homemaking Life

“May your walls know joy, may every room hold laughter, and every window open to great possibility.” —Mary Anne Radmacher

This quote just about sums up my goal for every one of my readers.
Homemaking is more than just getting kids out of the door and doing the dishes.
To make a house a home is an art and a ministry in itself.

My Own Homemaking Life

My household consists of my husband Andrew, my son Bug (no, this is not his real name ?) and me.
Our home is also often filled with family and friends, as we love having loved ones over.

Who I Am

My name is Ana (pronounced “Ah-nah”, like, that book is on a table ?). Also, like the way Anna pronounces her name in frozen.

First of all, I am a child of God.
Without Him, we have nothing.

I am a wife.
Falling more in love with my husband each day.
Find more about the man who, for some reason, decided to spend his life with me down below.

I am a mother.
Trying my best to raise my precious boy, and enjoying all of the cuddles I can get.
For the scoop about my Bug and some pretty cute pictures, keep on a scrollin’!

I am not perfect.
Although I may try, and I mean who doesn’t, I am not perfect.
In fact, I am far far from it.

I am a cook.
Making sweet treats and loving on those I care about through food and friendship is just what I love to do!

I am a reader.
I have always enjoyed reading both fiction and non-fiction.
Books have had an amazing impact on my life.

I am a writer.
Ever since I was a young girl I have been writing things.
Blogging is just one of my most recent writing excursions.

The Husband

(This is an adorably cheesy picture of my husband and I from high school. And no, Andrew has no idea I put this picture is up for the world to see… Let’s not tell him ?)

Andrew and I were married rather young.
We began our love story as high school sweethearts.
We have journeyed together through our faith, our adolescence, and even newfound parenthood.

He is hands down my favorite person.
I feel absolutely honored to have finished growing up with him.
I feel even more so that he chose me to tackle this beautiful thing called life with.

Andrew is a strong kind of man.
Both of will and of physical strength.
He is the kind of man who has to be the hardest working person in the room.

He is my mountain man.
Not because of a love of hiking, but because he stands at nearly a foot taller than I am, and is my rock day after day.

The Bug

Our little man was born in April of 2018.
He made me a mama and I love him so much it sometimes hurts.

He has a real name, but about 60% of the time we call him some variation of Bug.
Andrew gave this little nickname to him the day he was born and it just sort of stuck!

Bug is a hilarious, curious, and extremely adventurous little boy.
My pride and joy enjoys snuggling his mama, giggling with daddy and being very, very LOUD.
Apparently, my husband was also a very noisy baby and let me tell you- this trait runs deep.

Some may find the loud babbles at the customers next to us in a restaurant embarrassing, but not us.
Bug just loves to make people happy and loves being the center of attention.
Even if he is sick or a little upset he will muster a big smile at anyone he thinks needs it.

I love seeing his personality develop more and more each day and I absolutely love being his mama.
Have you seen him? How could I not?!
